Alright guys, I want a cheap spektrum receiver for a banger I'm putting together as I don't want my micro one to get broke, would these work with the spektrum module we use? Any difference between car & aircraft
Look at this on eBay: Spektrum Receiver AR6100e 2.4Ghz DSM2 Microlite 6 Channel Micro Rx http://bit.ly/JUo0JL

There shouldn't be any clash on 2.4 systems.
The module is dsm2 so would need to be compatible with that. Same as having a faast tx & rx. The system I use is used by aircraft and cars. |

I Have a feeling air and surface Spekky systems are not compatible else we would all be running cheapy orange spekky copies for car racing instead of the genuine spekky ones
i of course stand to be corrected dave |

Is the frsky system not for cars and planes? I bought mine from a place that sells them for gliders etc.
The only difference would be the extra channels and telemetry that we don't use. However with some of the jumps nowadays we do get airborne!! Lol |

I believe that Spektrum code their surface and air systems differently and thus they are incompatible. I've tried a heli RX with my surface system and they wouldn't bind
