Just got back into 1/10 off road and I was wondering how much drag brake people are running? in both 2 & 4wd on mid to high bite astroturf.

On 2wd I use 15% drag brake
4wd I use 10% It's all down to personal preference really, just get some practice in and have a play with the drag brake. |

I used to run enough drag to make it seem like a brushed set-up, but now prefer to run none at all.
As Mark says - it a preference thing

As little as possible... assuming set-up is pretty good and you've not got too mush grip it's surprising how fast you can get these things to go round corners!

I find the esc gets a little bit hotter when using the drag brake, I usually run either 5%.

Also depends on your age too! Us older racers like the drag brake a bit higher like Col said to get the same feeling as a brushed motor
You young ones have a google, com lathes, brush's oh the joys of them! Lol |
