Default whats the worst you have done to your rc car

i thought it would be fun to find out the worst crash youve had with your car, nitro/electric or even 2 stroke petrol ones.
Just to start, i think the worst crash (which wasnt my fault at all) was when my savage 25 crashed into a tree full pelt lol, wasnt pretty.
Not my fault, that tree shouldnt have been there lol

When i was young(long time ago now!). I had a tamiya bigwig with the 8.4v battery and a technigold motor, i raced my dads milkfloat(bedford cf) as he drove off and he went straight over it!! What a car, it came out the other side in one piece

I havent really had one relaly bad jump but a few goodones.

First one when i was younger and i had a nitro touring car i used to drive roun my local carpark. This car ark is quiet large so i went flat out acroos the carpark got it into 2nd gear must of been doing about 40 MPH and i hit a drain grid and it took off did a full spin round 360 degrees was about a foot off the ground then landed back on its wheels but and span aorund alot. Nothing broken but then i let my dad have a go and he crashed it into a concrete pillar and whiped the front end off.

While racing its self we moved Oswestry National jump into the middle of our small track and we raced on it and i jumped it and flew straight into the telegraph pole with my b4 i broke wishbone bulkhead lost m hingpin brace and broke a shock tower.

Then only a few weeks ago i snapped my xx4 chassis on the jump at coventry i also snapped a rear shock tower to at the same time.

I've been quite lucky i've had a few big incidents with never getting too much actual damage.

A few times I should have destroyed cars, I tore a wheel off my Traxxas TRX-1 once hitting a fence flatout with a 12x2. The car went one way the wheel went the other.

I had a Procat and the crystal went of all things. At the time I was racing in Rochdale in the Methodist Mission, on the top floor. My Procat flew out the door and somehow made it down 2 flights of stairs unbroke (except crystal).

I remember that!

I used to 'race' (mainly crash) there with my Cougar 2. It was the track with the tight banked turn wasn't it?

I've crashed my old 1/8th Bergonzoni Flash into my toe; broke my toenail down the middle

Default VKD

Snetterton IC On Road National a few years back ! All slightly pissed ! Running a Swift 1/8th rallycross around the off road bit at the back ! We ran out of nitro so we filled the tank up with VKD while it was still running ! It did about 3 yards

Needles to say engine was toast !

worst i've had must be oversteering on a corner years ago with my old saloon car and writing off the rear end haha another time the crystal went of all things on my savage .46! luckily it was on a big field so it went to the other side happly as 3 mates chased it to stop it haha took about 5 minutes to catch up to it when it found deep grass on a steep hill

Old git hehehe.

Me well I had a xmas pressie when I was young and that was a Tamiya Facon, when it was released (now I am an old git) and as soon as I built it I drove it down the driveway and the chassis broke when i crashed, I only did 20 yards with it, a big disappointment. Tamiya cars were as fragile as china.

I also recall Dave Belsten had a good crash. He was driving a YZ10 and had a head on with my Lazer ZXR. I only got a scratched bumper and he had a snapped wishbone which was quite funny. Those wishbones didnt break easily.

The stupidest crash i have ever had was my own drunken fault. Me and my mate were stopping at my nans bungalow while she and my grandad went away and one particular evening we decided to go into the attic room and put my R/C buggy (at the time a B3) on the roof and jump it onto the garden grass(great idea!!!) only the plan didnt work as i hit the god damn garden path!!! As you can imagine there was not much left to salvage! lol - beer makes you do wonderful things

The stupidest thing I did was on the beach I had just finish rebuiling my LST2 and forgot to put the plug the servos on the recivers.
I started up the car and it took off doing hudge circle. it wasn't going too fast ; but fast enough for me to look like a fool to try to catch it.

i had a good one with my old xxx at batley one sunday when it was quiet.

went up at full chat to the double but car was not straight. the car went up and the outside front wheel caught the paving slab which is the barrier on the side....slingshotted the car round and it went spinning into the metal container clearing the whole width of the straight first.

Not a bit of damage....next run, just touched the edge of the kerbing at the concrete hairpin and snapped a wishbone!!
