Hi, I have ordered the new gear diff for my 210 and would like to know what wt oil would give me the same feel/performance as the ball diff?

It will feel like a different car probably. I'm running 650 shock oil in mine at the moment and it's lovely. Run that on both carpet and astro

I've run mine a couple of times now with the gear diff, using 1000wt oil. Feels more agile than the ball diff with this, but not so good on the brakes. A good staring point and for something similar to the ball diff I'd go with 2000wt, its what I'll be trying next ...

Thanks, just need a starting point as i have never ran a gear diff for racing and looking to keep the handling similar, the 210 is good at the mo but on a borrowed diff as mine just did not want to work.
