Looks like its' now avialable. So it's been ordered fingers crossed!

You are very lucky! I have only just got ADSL2+ and no chance of cable in my area or Infinity

Go to sky.com an put ur details in for fibre, if there's enough interest they'll expand to ur area

Im wanting to change my internet over as to be honest its pant but i dont know who will be the best to go with...........think the exchange is 11 miles away from me.

Im currently on AOL broadband running between 0.3-0.9mbps and have been told that we have Cable in my area !!!



Dontreally download much just mainly surfing the net or watching music/video clips online !!!

Any help or suggestions ???

Give SKY a ring mate, AOL run off traffic management policy so they slow speed at peak time but SKY don't so it'll b a bit better, where the speed ur getting is relatively done on distance no matter who u really go to when it's done through the telephone line ur looking some what the same speed, unless u go fibre. U can go sky.com an do ur own check for speed an what's available

+1 for Sky

I have been with them for 4 years, v rarely had any problems.

Did have a router fail, but they couriered a new one to me next day.

Plus net are fine for me on fibre (40 down and 5.6 up) so can't complain. Although it is traffic shapped a bit to prioritise surfing at night but you can't really tell.
