I run my 5.5 on 17/108 so your 17 pinion will be good

oh...it was very good.

today was the first time out with my new car....it's an older X5, but it's new to me.

starting off in the wet with the only tyres i had (worn schumacher yellows) it was a handful. A few minor setup up changes throughout the day got the car to be much, much better. I will take a peek inside the shocks this week and put some oil in them (!) but as the car was today, it was, for me, absolutely ballistic. A "B" final win from pole was the result, but in fairness i was unlucky in qualifying (2 non finishes - 1 tyre fell off and one broken wishbone) it really was "A" final standard.

Overall, I am very very happy with it!

Burgie, if that broken wishbone was a front, suggest you look into the caster block screws. Both Lesro & DMS should have them, and of course we do. Fairly cheap, and stop 90% of the problem.

Thanks Carl - i think you may be right!

And young chazz.... it was a front wishbone, but the wishbone broke right by the bulkhead, not by the wheel, so i don't think on this occasion i can blame the screws. Thanks for the advice though!
