Default Vapextech Life batteries in a Losi 8ight?

Suggestions please, I got two vapextech lifepo hump (1600) batteries today for my buggy and have just been trying to install them and have realised they are a really tight fit. Does anyone else run these and if so is there a way of getting them to fit comfortably? What sort of mods need to be made to the radio tray ?

All help welcome.

Thanks

Ned

Hi, I fitted some of these in a losi 8ight last week with no issues, send me a link to which batteries you bought incase they're different.

I fitted the 1600 Life blue packs with the flatter of the 2 battery covers.

Those are the batteries I fitted. They went in with no issues at all even when using the flatter of the 2 supplied battery covers.

Lift the sponge up and check the screw that goes through the chassis isn't sticking up too high into the battery box preventing the battery from going down low enough.

Hi, the car is running a std switch and running a gen3 radio tray.

However a friend of mine also has the gen2 radio tray and also uses the same battery with no issues.

My mate uses this battery in his Gen2 radio tray, I'll see if I can get him to take a pic.
