New Part Confusion

So new part announced: 54405 trf201 adaptor for aluminium rear upright....

... Anyone any idea what this is? I mean, the upright already works with any setup the standard arm does!?

Perhaps an add-on piece to the upright for more geometry options? A bit like AE have on their B4.1 uprights? That, or the translation has gone wrong!
