Default is it possible to repair mov files

Hi guys, is it possible to repair mov files. i think i damaged mine by pulling the card out the camera while it was still switched on now my pc nor camera recognises the movies.

There is a software recovery thing available which can access data on memory cards, I've never used it but seen it talked about on Camera forums, I'd post this same question on one of them and see what you get back.
