Default ALL B44 AND B44.1 OWNERS!!!,HELP PLEASEE

Hello everyone, i'm going to get a Associated b44.1 soon and i was wondering, what pinion is best to use with this setup:

Tekin 6.5t motor.
Tekin rs pro esc.

Any help is much appreciated.

best thing to do is look at the tekin gearing chart for the motor to find out what pinion range will be good for the B44/.1 associated give you a base setting but every motor is different

Are you getting a 44, or a 44.1?

They use different spurs...

I used to run my 44 with 84/22 SP V3 6.5 outdoor
Currently running 81/25 SP V3 10.5 indoor

i use sp 5.5 and and my pinion is 19 and spur 84.

I used to run a tekin redline 6.5t in my b44.1 21t pinion as Gaz said is perfect any bigger and it gets silly due to the 55000ish rpm

Gaz is spot on for the 44.1 on a 81T spur.

IMO a 18 is way too small.

I just ordered the same setup but with 5.5T motor. I got pinions ranging from 15T to 18T, should I have gone a little bigger?

Edit, maybe thinking it's too much motor for the car after reading around more, any tips?
