Default Help With Reversing Brushless Motor

Hey guys,

So i've finished my first build (the cyclone D4) and now I've finished it, I installed my motor with a heatsink and my esc and all the other electronics and it all works but my motor goes the wrong way. How can I reset and change it to the other way? I tried using the transmitter but ofcourse when the car goes forwards it has less power and backwards it has full power. So is there a way I can do it? Could I just change the polarity or would that damage the esc? Help would be greatly appreciated

Edd

what make of ESC and motor do you have? It would be very strange for the motor to turn the wrong way.

you more than likely got two of the phase motor wires round the wrong way there by the sounds, check all you wire connections for starters.

A-A, B-B, C-C (from ESC to motor)

I don't think you can reverse these motors. You can for aeroplane stuff, not cars. Because most car motors are sensored.

Correct me if I'm wrong...

Good luck!
