Default Ko Handset Charger Question

Hi Folks

I have just purchased a second hand vantage handset that has had a nicad pack fitted. It has come minus the charger. Would anyone who has one please be kind enough to have a look on the transformer and see what the voltage and Mah rating of the Ko charger is please ?

Ive got loads of transformers here of various ratings with the correct plug to fit the tranny charging point, but i dont want to fry my handset cells !

Failing that, has anyone got a Ko handest charger they would like to sell ?

Thanks very much

Richard

any standard tx charger will do fine mate.

i use a futaba/ripmax charger - 9.6v 150mA

have recently swapped to the later ko vantage you can swap the cells in, and i've put some duracell 2650's in it

I really doesn't matter the charger you use, really, as long as you don't overcharge the pack - in much the same way you wouldn't want to overcharge any pack.
Any charger that will plug into the charge port will suffice, like the little slowcharge plug into the wall one you're referencing - and I've often used my big-pack fast charger to charge my transmitter pack at the track when I forgot to do it the night before.
Charge it overnight, but make sure and don't do it much longer than that - and keep an eye on it when you get up in the morning that the pack itself is not too hot (sign of overcharge) - and other than that you should be fine.
