Default Some Carbon Bits CnC

I've been doing the odd re-design of various makes of shock mounts and bits 'N' bobs for a while. And now finally have some actual Carbon Fiber bits ready to show woot!

The mill is home made and still needs some tweaks but it does not a bad job I think

Looking good. Have you done any x2c rear shock towers?

look nice, but i would leave a little more material on the rear tower as the outside struts look a little thin to me.

Thanks for the replies

Jim76: I have beefed them up now actually since milling these so the next batch of Ansmann ones will differ slightly, I do much prefer my new designs

Michaeli: I'll consider doing some sure, I'd need an original so I can get the measurements for new ones.

I'll be happy to talk prices with anyone ... granted I can't do next day turn around or anything like that, more like a week but I'm slowly going to build up a stock of ones I like and are popular with people.

Here is a pic of the mill. It kinda built its self as we used a hand mill to make a small PC driven mill that was used to cut parts for this larger one. It was all designed in Sketchup.

Holy crap that's awesome. So, a small machine built the bigger machine that then built the biggest machine, what will the next one look like!!

What software do you use to design the parts?

Id love to build my own CNC but its just not gonna happen What are the smaller mills like, do you have pictures?

Yeah, and that spanner is huge!
