Default tc6.1

The design of the new c hubs isn't great u hav to glue in the inserts or end up with loads of slop in the front end, so why not just fit the standard tc6 hubs.

I'll up date if any others common problems come to light

Please add to this if you have experienced other problems

Guys just looking for some info with regards the tc6.1 and tc6 castor blocks and steering hub. At the min i am stuck with a broken c hub on a 6.1 and cannot find parts online to fix the problem. What i want to know is will a tc6 castor block and steering arm fit straight on to a tc6.1 or do you need other parts to fix the issue??

The TC6 castor block will fit straight on the 6.1.

The TC6 steering arm will need different bearings (5x10x3) as the TC6 used narrower wheel bearings.

Plenty of cheap bearings on eBay so might still be worth doing if you're really stuck.

Yep should do, so there's no need to change the steering arms if its only a castor block thats broken.

I know Michael @ Mb Models has 6.1 spares in stock at the Ardent outlet.
I spoke to him yesterday after reading this thread. Give him a call on 0113 2603330
