Default racing at york 10th March- Club night

Regular club night. 2wd, 540, and 4wd plus if six people can bring sc trucks
we put on a heat. Doors open 1745. Reminder to everyone attending...
all racers are expected to help put the track away. Not stand around outside chatting, not rushing off to a kebab stall, not rushing of to the pub etc. PUT THE TRACK AWAY FIRST !!!

I was guilty of that last week. Wrist duly slapped.

Thinking of turning up on Saturday night, just a couple of things. Whats the surface, is it just carpet or multi surface? and whats the postcode for directions.

Thanks
Chris

While I agree with getting there early to put the track up, I disagree with the sentiments of staying back at the end to put it all away, especially if you have as far to drive as I do... The people you should be aiming this at is those who do neither...

This is my main area for complaint as well.

I always aim to be one of the first there and help bring all the kit in and set up a track.

However at the end of the night I have two children to get to bed so don't stay back, but as Chris said a lot of people do neither.

Last week I could only get there late, however I stayed back and it took ages with only 3 people to put the track away. I think if everyone either helped at the start or the finish, (or both!) and as long as it wasn't biased at one end of the evening that is fine.

The issue is people who never help.

I imagine we have this discussion every year!!
