Default 511 thrust race

Any recommendation for thrust race balls/plates for a 511? I'm not even sure what size they are

Dan, use the Tamiya trf 620hc thrust race instead of the standard caged type, tamiya part number is: 42171 they are much better and comes as a set of plates and balls

no mate, fit the trf201 thrust race with the tungsten carbide thrust race balls, the centre hole in the washers is larger for the diff screw than the trf511

link for carbide balls:

Hi Dan,

I've been using these ceramic thrusts on my 501 and 511, and found they are best for durability and performance:
