I had 'THE RING' a week after buying my 360 xmas 2005 and got a replacement sent, then I got it again Jan 2007 and sent a replacement again.
Both were caused by overheating, the first time it was sat on the NTL box, so I had the next one stood up until I bought a HDD Recorder then I had it laid down ontop and within a week it went again. The new one's been stood up ever since and no probs so far. I bought a cooler but its so loud you cant hear the tv.

No decent games either!
![]() I've had the Ring of Death twice, normally gets picked up by UPS before you've put the phone down to Microsoft, first time it was back in a week, second time, 2 weeks.
