Default What would you like Sir?

What things would you like to see in RC, Better tools, better tyres for uk tracks, better hauler bags/storage.

What things can be refined, would you like stronger losi shock towers or a weak point on your car made bomb proof?

Any ideas

Id like an indoor clay circuit, with indoor pitting, wireless internet, cafe and model shop on site.

Or, global warming to hurry up. I hate and despise wet weather racing - I can cope with the cold, but wet, nooooooo

But isn't global warming going to give us more rain?

Anyway I'd like better permenant tracks, some nice dirt ones....Hmmmmmmmm...........

or just some nice perm' track in general.
Indoor clay would be cool. I'm surprised no one made one yet, just like the Neo race track.

I think even for 1/8th the demand for R/C racing in the UK just isn't quite big enough yet to justify the amount of money it takes to keep it running and get started in the first place

I suppose the only way it could ever really happen is if a shop was to decide to do it, and as Chris says have a permenant on-site shop - that way members of the public could go along and have a go with a car before they buy etc, and that way people can see what these cars can do!

I hate to think how many people over the years have probably gone into a shop and just bought a car for a bit of fun, driven it up and down the road and got bored before long then thrown it up in the loft without realising they could go and race!

It would definatley have to have a shop on site, but when you think about it a shop would probably not earn enough to pay for a large warehouse with enough room for a BIG track + pitting space and also car parking for 100 cars. Plus if i owned the shop i would also want some sort of profit for sitting there 6 days a week

There is also the big start up costs as well.

I would do it if i could find the right place, but it would have to be well supported and it would have to be an ace shop from the word go, which also costs money.

they would obviously get the race entry fees to subsidise it, but still a huge cost to cover

Blyth's available if u wanna go mad and do it... The sites gonna be there forever, centrally located all the essentials are there, pretty much rent free, just need a crack team to develop it and/or get some grant funding..

have you ever thought about putting up some kind of barn type sheltered structure over the top of the blyth track and make it a cool covered dirt arena?

Yeah, researched it before and costed it etc, income would have to come from major races, the trickle of weekly practice sessions wouldnt be enough, but marry it with a shop and a few other things and it becomes more viable obviously..
