Default Another DEX210 shell

Designed a DEX210 body, cab shape based off my DEX410 design obviously
Everyone complained that the original was too hard to paint, and that the poor little driver had massive blind spots
So this is easier to paint, and less sharp corners is less prone to cracking.
I still have to make the rear cover sections for mid motor, but it will be able to be used in any config with covers or just cut specifically for one of the mid motors or rear motor.
Was also going to put scoop cutting lines in those angled down bits at the front of the side pods to make them legal scoops if anyone actually needs them.
Made a similar wing to my usual one, just with a wider middle to clear the gear cover in rear motor mode.

Also made an undertray and a proper front bumper..

Some pics from sunday, thanks to Brooke for the action shots

Nice Idea, but I personally LOVE the stock shell has to be one of the best looking shells to date.

Best to PM Bugle

Have the DEX410 & Losi version from him and they take 10 to 14 days from Austrailia to the UK

+1, the DEX210 shell has to be one of the better and more original shells produced lately (no wonder if you see what chassis is underneath and around that shell). The only thing I might have done different would be the sidepods, but to keep them practical they really need to be pretty bulky.

Anyway, your shell looks nice as well. I wonder though if there will be any manufacturer to try out a body on this one that doesn't follow the shape of the current sidepods and has a cab fitted further backwards. It seems pretty impossible with the chassis Durango have built

Thanks for the comments!
Still a supply problem of the kits over there?

I'm planning on having the first batch ready at the same time I finally launch my website, which will have ordering. Should be early next week.

I might have a go at a rear cab, I have had some ideas about that

i too think the stock 210 shell is cool looking but man.....what a pig to paint!
all the td shells (well, the 1/8 n sc aren't too bad) have really recessed windows and vents which makes it a nightmare to cut designs in or around those areas.

so, nice1 bugle

Yeah I like to let people mask windows however they like if they don't like my lines , don't have a choice if the windows are recessed!

The undertray will fit with the standard shell, it fits the outline of the chassis closely.

ok ready to pump some out, just needed more cowl bell
You could probably get away without the cowl for mid motor though if you only wanted to cut it for 1 configuration, and if the motor tabs don't poke out further than 6mm measured from a tangent from the point where the centre tab is. Every motor i've got looks like it should be ok.
