Default LI-PO For club racing.

Anyone use these for club racing?

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ddle_Pack.html

For £25 ish I can't justify more expensive li-po's just for club racing. I know i'll need approved cells comp's but for general club racing they should be good enough?

What are peoples thoughts on this?

I've just ordered 2 sets for myself, I know Tartman raves about them, but for 30 quid delivered, you cant go wrong, even if they only last 6 months.

Will post back about performance when they arrive and I've tested them.

there a very nice set of batterys to be honest, ive got the 4800mah one, only because the higher mah was out of stock when i ordered Got to admit, cant go wrong, runing a 5.5t motor in my b44, they hold a nice charge. One thing ive noticed is that they look bigger than other packs, dont know why, they just seem bigger.

Check out google for Nanotechs 5500 at 120C shipped as long as customs don't collar you about £28 a set and if they are picked up only comes to about £34!

Default NanoTech Li-po's

Have used the 'traditional' 2s2p 60c NanoTech stick packs and they are to honest absolutely fantastic. They do state they are 'ohm matched' as well. Every pack comes with a charging lead with 4mm corally's & blank ends. Been using them in an SC10 with one of HKing's X car 10.5 bl motors ( another bargain ) when they are in stock.
Ordered twice and both packages arrived by normal mail from Hong Kong within a week, never been caught for import - yet, but if you order from them there is a selector to choose 'your' customs value ! !

Mine have arrived, will be running them this weekend, so will post back about performance once they've been run. They look good and as has previously been said, they are a matched pair.

Not exactley happy with the delivery time, but I'm sure this one was an exception...

Has anyone been stung by customs?

Bought 2 sets of Lipo saddle packs from Hong Kong and never got stung by customs, also parts from the US and no problem either
