Default Mardave V12 Diff

Quick questions.

Are they worthwhile for circuit racing?

What benefits if any do they give?

Default diff

Having tried both in my circuit car, save your money makes no difference what so ever.

I think the diff makes a big difference. With the solid axle the car is always prone to waving the back end about when you put the power on coming out of a corner. The diff calms this down a lot. I find it tends to make the car understeer, I'm guessing it gives the rear more grip so a change in tyre setup and driving style is required.

Takes a bit of time to get the diff set right and not binding.

i find it a big advantage-
tends to make it turn in sharper
less wear on rear tyres due to them not fighting each other for grip

only downside is more likely to wheel spin when accelerating hard so i just run a softer tyre
