A SPECIAL TRAXXAS STAMPEDE

I thought i would test the water with my customised Traxxas Stampede

Ill try to explain as best as i can what your getting, i bought this stampede about 3 years ago, i got rid of the standard xl5 system and replaced it with a Tekin 2.5t brushless system with lipo, this made the truck rapid! but it made the truck unstable and used to wheelie all the time. (hense adding the rpm wheelie bar)!!!!

i used it for about 5 times then i went about customising it, if you google extended widened chassis loads will come up.

basically i made the chassis about 2" longer, and i modified the front end to make the truck wider about 1" improving stability, this was all done with genuine Traxxas parts (jato, stampede,rustler).

the truck was a lot stabler when cornering and wheelie only when i wanted it too.

i then set about making the truck bullet proof, due to having a 2.5t brushless and using it at our local BMX track i needed to make the car very strong so i fitted the following. (when ever a original part failed i upgraded it)

aluminium rear/front hubs
aluminium hex nuts
aluminium front brace
aluminium front turnbuckles
aluminium battery brace
rpm front bumper
rpm wheelie bar]
uprated bearings
i have since been using the truck on and off over the last few years, but having moved house and having two babys ive not had much chance. so thought i would put it up for sale for someone to make full use of it, would be perfect for bashing!!


to summarise, this is a very fast truck (with a brushless system) and very very strong. all thats needed is your electronics fitting. i will also through in two body shells, i have been running the audi avant shell, but found the truck shell (which i forgot i had). if i was keeping it i would stick a emaxx truck shell on it, as these fit this stampede perfect now its been extended and widened.

i am looking for offers around £130, if i get £130 i will post for free (this will be about £10-£15) on its own.

i am actually after a traxxas slash 4x4 roller or 1/8th brushless system for my inferno, so would be interested in swapping/cash etc.
