Default Predator Prototype 1993 Worlds

Does anybody have photos and info of the very first Predator Prototypes with the carbon tub and alloy gearboxes front and rear . I remember seeing something in a RRC at around 1992-93 but don't have the magazines any more .Thanks

Thumbs up Prototype Predator

I'm putting together a site based on the Predator & Predator XT (to start with) and will hopefully have a page on this car.

It's in the October issue of RRCI from 1993 (I think)

The car appears to have an alloy prop shaft, Yokomo wheel adaptors and Kyosho Gold shocks. It's an interesting car !

The Tenth Technology adverts in RCMC also show B/W photos of the prototype in July 1993 issue onwards.

I'd love to read all the old RRC mags. It's a shame you can't get them all online.

I may have it. I have about 3 boxes of RCMC from late 80's through to mid 90's as i used to subscribe.
I'll check next time I visit the parents as they are stored there!

You can see touring car body mounts at the front where posts would fit, I'm not sure how the body would fit at the back (can't see any mounts). One of the first runs if not THE first run was at a touring car meet under the guise of a BMW M3 touring car body (250mm wide - Wide Touring) - (info as per TTech's Driver Information Service Release 1 from 1994 )

I'm guessing the car is still in the hands of the man in the photo

The early adverts don't show the bodyshell until the car was actually released.
