I currently run a B4.1 with the standard reedy esc and 3300kv motor. for radio gear i have a hitec aggressor set up.
Ive found it to be a very reliable set up but i would like to change both eventually (probably an 8.5 motor). My local track is very short and windy where as some of the other meetings i plan to attend use big indoor tracks and i find that my car usually runs out of steam first. I would like to be able to get a bit more power when needed but retain the drivability. |

Sensored is what will give the driveability. Hobbywing ESC is the obvious choice. Some good deals on the Speed Passion version out there too. I'd push your budget out the the 120A if poss. All the BRCA legal 8.5 motors are quite similar, HPI Flux Pro and Speed Passion seem to be the best value, I run the Speed Passion, but see people doing well in off-road with all the popular motors (Novak, LRP/Nosram etc.)
