one big thank you to all that attended the dez chand championship

well guys/gals what can i say what a wonderful weekend it was, the family absolutely loved it and it meant so much to them all that everyone came out and showed there respect, even though on the Saturday the weather was against us, but everyone still got on the track and risked there electrics and we had some great racing so a huge thank you for that.

When the sun came out Sunday morning we new we were in for a great day and it didn't disappoint one bit, from the fantastic racing to andrew ash running around the track in his mankini(he looked very cold bless him) to raise extra cash thank you buddy, then after the racing finished we drew the raffle and some lucky people won some great prizes.

i just wish we didn't have to do it in the first place, but thanks to all you guys we gave dez a fantastic send off and we raised over £4000 in the 2 days for the family, which will go a very long way for them, so thanks to all those that donated raffle prizes, there money and there time helping me put this together for dez's family and i hope to see you all again next year, as i am already starting to plan the dez chand championship 2013

Yes it was a great event, full credit to the Coventry club and everyone else involved. And an amazing selection of raffle prizes from some generous sponsors.

Plenty of people in bright shirts as well, a fitting sendoff for Dez from us racers.
