Royal Mail is probably your best bet mate, unless you have an account with a courrier service like Interlink or something you'll probably find Royal Mail the best value for money

Whoever you go for expect delays in delivery and ensure that your parcel is insured in case it goes missing. Italian postal services tend to make Parcel Force look like a highly professional and efficient company!!

Depends how heavy/big it is. If it's small and light enough the post office is the cheapest, for anything bigger try http://www.parcel2go.com/ I use them for work stuff as they are a lot cheaper than the carriers they use.

Flip side of the coin....

I used Parcel2Go to get a ZX-5 from here to Italy, they use DHL as their international courier (well, to Italy anyway)....

I got an email from the recipient 3 weeks after sending, it seems the parcel was stolen from the back of the DHL delivery van in Italy...

Probably just an unfortunate accident but do make sure that you take out adequate insurance...

I have posted a kit sized box to italy, used royal mail and had no probs item was there within 5 days. The item was only worth 30quid tho. So it may be worth checking insurance. If I remember right one prob is you can't get the item recorded or signed for, but I may be wrong.

I just used Royal Mail to send a car to Greece. Very reasonably priced and got there in good time.

If it's under 2kg then Royal Mail International Signed For or Airsure is best.
Take a look on www.postoffice.co.uk for prices.
Over 2kg then www.parcel2go.com is one to use.

Always buy insurance and get a proof of delivery! If it goes missing and the buyer used paypal they will get their money back and you will have no car and no money.

Ive just sucessfully posted a kit and loads of spares over 2kg to greece. With a £150 insurance cost about 28 quid and you have piece of mind if it goes missing
