Default Mini 8 shock caps and bottoms

Ok so I have broken the top shock cap once and the bottom loop on the shock piston twice, has any body else had this problem?? I borrowed and bottom loop of a guy you had a carisma gt14b and it fit,its hard to get parts for boath cars right now here in sweden. But is there any better options for the mini 8.... than LOSI s because it seems that ther plastic is verry week ?? Maybe aluminum would slove this issue...

the carisma gt14b shock tops are alot stronger the the losi ones, im running carisma shocks on my losi that was on my old carisma, ive broken a shock tower once on the carisam using these shocks but ive never broken the shock tops or bottoms, what i do find is the spring retainer pops off the the both shocks

try and get carisma shock tops and bottoms for the losi shocks

hope this helps altho im not sure where you can get them from

Fair play Paul! How have you done a wishbone! I must be over 16 hours running the car and not done one!! You are an animal

i done a front wishbone arm on my first outing with the losi. Car was set-up like pig. And was having massive ammount of over steer, so lost control and hit a track edge, and it broke the out part of the arm, where the pin goes in. But not broke any thing since, Except i keep getting the back falling out of the motor, im on my second motor now and thats still happening.
Going to change to the 7000kv motor as it is screwd in place.
