Default DEX210 Motor Position Changes?

Is it complecated to change the dex210's motor from mid motor 3 gear to mid motor 4 gear as those are the 2 id b using if i get 1 and was wondering if it is hard to change or is it a quick job?

Back end rebuild not too major as most will do as maintenance after a meeting or two but not something that i would do track side

Swapped mine from mid motor 4 gear to rear motor 4 gear in about 30-45 minutes ish including electrics so if your just adding or taking a gear out probably about a 15 minute job

but do you not need to turn the whole motor and mechanism around the other way?

No only the motor plate/slipper assembly needs to be swapped from one side to the other but you'll have the gearbox in bits anyway for adding or taking a gear out. Instruction books on the Durango website take alook at that

7-10 min job from 3RM to 4MM as I have 2 complete gearboxes in these configurations
