I have tried the 10.5t in a touring car.
Compaired to an x12 they a far smoother and run loads cooler. They do like to be run with more motor timing too. Mark |

Hey,
Sorry about the delay in replying. I was running a Novak before the Reedy. So swapped a 7.5 Novak to a Reedy 7.5, in a Centro. I've had two meeting now with the Reedy, including the Dublin Winter Race. Very happy with the performance of the Reedy. With the cooling slots it works well in the mid mounted, keeping cool. On the track it performed very well, geared up a tooth from what I was running on the Novak, stayed cool and smooth. The construction of the two motors are very (very) similar. The rotor appears to be the main difference. The rotor on the Reedy had a brass spacer which I didn't like, was too easy to loose when putting the rotor in the stator. I'll continue testing and see what happens. MiCk B. :-)
