Default What turn motor in a dex210

What have you guys been putting in and why?

I was thinking of a 8.5t, short technical indoor circuit over winter but longer outside ones during summer

8.5T should be about right Most+me run 7.5t for outdoors and indoors. But for small tight and technical 8.5T would be about right if its very small.

7.5turn in mine with a 23t pinion. Plenty quick enough for indoors.

8.5 is a perfect 2wd motor for larger outdoor tracks, but even a 13.5 is plenty indoors IMHO

im running a 6.5 indoors ( dont have anything else ) and its way too quick.
have turned the timing right down, think an 8.5 would be ideal!

Hi Duncan, I have ran both a 7.5 and 8.5 around SHRCCC and I found that the 8.5 was smoother and more driveable there. Hope that helps you mate.

7.5T on 25 pinion 83 spur and then adjust turbo and boost accordingly to the track size.

Ive gone to slower motors and prefer the power delivery. 13.5t and 10.5t is what im using lately. Both with a bit of boost for more top end. 10.5t feels perfect for most tracks for me

I used a 10.5 last time out as I didn't have anything quicker barring 4/4.5 turn motors !

I think a 7.5 would be perfect though
