CML Raceway Winter Series Feb 24th

Hi guys,

CML Raceway is holding its second meeting of the year on sunday the 24th Febuary

It will be £5 for non members and £3 for members.
Memberships at £10 will be availible from from tuesday.
PM me for details.

I have been taking time off work to get the track to a better condition and pictures will follow,more cool features will be included!!!

I would like a good turn out as I am running the meeting. Sadly John Cockill cannot make it. We will as usual have the bbk software for timming which doesnot support the PT's.

Hot Food will be availible if numbers are over 20 as Mrs Martin does put alot of effort in.

Hi everyone,

So far the changes for sundays track will be:

The grass area that was run last meeting is in the procces of being paved with bricks and slabs. This is not going to be entierely flat so will add a good mixture of surface to the track.

The big timber jump has been taken apart and re boarded as a different shape (Big thanks to Mick)

Track markings all re-painted so will all be looking smart.

Will there be a meeting in March, as I would like to come when it is a bit lighter, and slightly warmer?

Also, what tyres are good apart from Proline's as I am finding it hard to get hold of any at the moment!

Hi,
We are not sure on the date for the meeting in march or if there is going to be one. Lee is currently away but i will find out as soon as possible.

The main tyres that most people run are Ballsitic Buggy Pinks, they work in both the wet and dry and a great all round tyre.

Step pins on the rear of 2wd with Proline ribs seem to work ok in the wet/damp but i would adivse to go with the BB Pinks.

Shumacher Yellows can be run in the really dry and seem to work well.

I think march will prove to be a hard one for a meeting as I am away for all the weekends and so is lee. I will be away the idea weekend of the bank holiday at the neo buggy.

These are pics of half way. we are going to get more slabs and try and to finish it on saturday.

The jump will be good as its a nice slow rithmytic jump which will be satisfying for all drivers.
