Hi guys I'm just curious to know who runs flipped rear wishbones on their x2c to lengthen the wheel base?. I'm trying to calm the car down on a very bumpy track curious to know what your findings are

Not tried it as the car is super stable as it is. What is the rest of your set up like?

Woody has:
http://www.oople.com/rc/photos/2011n.../DSC_0838.html I have tried it to and it definatly helped at southport through the bumpy section at the back. I reverted back to std, halfway through the day and I definatly couldn't go as fast through the same section. Try it and see. Doesn't take long to swap over.

Have run mine flipped all summer and tried it on wet track the weekend and was fine. Think the car jumps better too.
I run STD shocks with 2 hole pistons:35wt oil black spring front and 3 hole 1.2 piston 30wt black spring rear |

What reason is there in not running the longer wheelbase/flipped wishbones ?
Reduced agility on smoother tracks ?

I've run flipped wishbones on my m8's x2c (i built it that way for him) and i just like the way it sits.. i managed the same laps as my (ex) x6 and i wasnt even trying..
I just think if it means less machining and give more choice then its worth trying.. ![]() or how about an extended rear bulkhead so you can bolt the gearbox straight to it..

The rear wishbones on my x4te are flipped but I've no reason to flip the ones on the x2c as it is fine the way it is. Obviously down to preference

I've asked Woody today and he says he has run the car with the shocks on the front of the wishbone but HAS NOT flipped the wishbone as it makes the wheelbase too long. Putting the shocks on the front in this way makes the car a little more responsive. Hope this helps ;o)
