Default 48dp to 32dp pinion

My SCT came with a 48dp pinion, problem is i have bought a larger motor with 5mm shaft. I cant find any 48dp 5mm shaft pinions, will a 32dp pinion work or wont it mesh properly ??

It will only work if you have a 32dp spur.

You are probably best off getting a mode 1 pinion and spur.

The pitch of the teeth. you need to run the same pitch on both gears so that they can mesh together.

5mm shaft sounds like a big motor, big motors = big torque = stripped gears. Go easy on it or you'll be ordering mod 1 spur and pinion.

YEah have already turned the punch down on the ESC and have a handful of Kevlar spur gears just in case
