Default 22 gearing

just thinking again here and i am going for a tekin rs not the pro version speed control and a tekin 9.5 motor so just wondering with kit gearing what pinion to go for and are they 48dp pinions? or something else.

Yes they are 48dp and for a 9.5 the manual says a 23t pinion

If you'd read the manual, you would have known that was covered on Pg.33

touche good sir i take my hat off to you for that good comeback. but yea i havnt bought one yet so hence i started this thread so i get everything right first time when i buy it all.

Seeing that your previous experience appears to be limited to nitro cars, I will suggest that unlike nitros that electric cars aren't as limited gearing wise and instead of purchasing just one pinion that you should have a few to access.

thanks kayce thats exactly the advice im after as i only race nitros and never done electric so as and when i get my 22 ill buy a selection of pinions to try.
