Hi all Electric Gods...
Left a lipo connect in the car (esc off) for about 3 weeks. Went to charge it, charger says battery error. Won't balance or cycle. Voltage is about 5.02 volts I think. Can I force force charge? (LRP quadra pro 3). All other cells are ok..... Could it have discharged slowly? Neil

I had a similar issue on a lipo in my SC truck, I put the charger on nimh mode till it got to 6v then did a normal lipo balance charge. It got it back ok for me.
Just keep an eye on the battery and put it in a lipo sack to be safe. |

Technically it's a bin job. Practically, I've taken Mark's advice and managed to get a working cell. However, it was down on everything, and swelled a bit, and eventually I got rid of it because I was never sure it would not let me down. And that was only a receiver pack putting out milli-amps. I wouldn't try it with a drive battery myself, and I cannot guarantee to watch it all the time at a busy race meeting. Your call...

Looks like it's been saved!. Was down to 2.5 volts total.... little bit of Nimh charging and the lipo/balance setting and charged like a dream until we turned it off around 8.15 volts
![]() Big up Terry Streeter for taking the risk for me!!!
