You`ll be fine with the 6.5R and the GTB without the fan in the B4 No worries..

will be fine for winter, but on a 30deg summer day you may want one there just for reassurance!

get the muchmoreracing 30mm fan, it spins much faster than the novak and the blades aren't made from glass!!

In a B4 I notice a lot of people have a 25mm fan taped to the chassis in front of the speedo to blow air across it, which seems to bullet proof it. I believe both Pidge and Bradders run it this way.

Novak white fan is rubbish, the top falls off the first time you land hard.

IMO not worth risking without a fan at all. Especially given your record Dan

I'd at least do what Danny G says and put a fan in front of the speedo blowing across it. I run a 25x25x10 fan on mine without the little spacers underneath the fan and it moves plenty of air even in my 4wd with a 5.5

Yeah I did the smaller 25mm fan in front of the speedo, with some vent holes at the back of the 'bump' on the side of the b4 shell.

I tried mounting the normal fan on its side, but it was too big.
