Default Losi Mini-8ight Debuts this Weekend

Evening guys

Losi's latest Off Road Buggy makes it's competitive debut this Sunday at the BRCA Micro National Round 2 at Telford.

Keep an eye out on the UK Micro RC Forum on Sunday evening for news on the debut. There will be 4 cars there in the hands of myself, Mark Stiles, Jim Davis and Rob Chalmers.

Testing the car has been awesome so far and is very much on the pace at the meetings I've been at so all is looking promising at this moment.

Receptions depending I'll be updating Twitter on the day (@Andy_Jonesy)

A true credit as to how awesome these new generation of micros are.

Make sure you slow down enough for the cameras Andy ...the debut is hotly aticipated across the whole race community and Jonesy, Stiles, Jim and Rob at the wheels (or stick) should be a fitting baptism. Cant wait

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Mini LOSI 8ight looks like an amazing piece of kit and I can't believe that was running stock!

They're due out on around the 7th of November aren't they?

Can't wait to have a play

I am running a different speed controller in the car, an Hobbyking EzRun 25A, and a smaller Spektrum receiver. Motor and Servo are kit standard

Haha cheers Tommy I did get a bit lucky but what you didn't see in the rest of the race was a fully clean run

In terms of release date in the UK it's not 100% been announced as yet and I don't have it either before you ask! Although history would suggest it's usually around a week or 2 after the States.

Thumbs up 8ight

I raced against the proto 8ight last night that was driven by a Horizon rep who visited Telford for a 'test run'. Buggy seemed quick in the straights. Suffered a little from over steer in the corners but seemed fairly well together. I was driving 1/16th 2wd and I had some good tussles with the new Losi buggy....it has a really interesting sound on the track which is prob the gear diffs. The shell is defo the meanest in its class

Oh by the way...rep was saying that the U.K shipments will arrive at British docks on Sunday this week, and he was predicting a delivery to the retailers by next Thursday...straight from the Horizon mouth so to speak guys.

Looking forward to seeing several set-ups with the lads at Microx Sunday.
