Question B44 Battery Post Alternatives ???

Im wanting to know what alternative battery posts or what MODS people are using for the B44 when using tall LiPos as im finding it a bit of a pain in the ass to get them in and out quickly in between rounds........

I used to run 30mm tall lipos in mine. All i did was removed the threaded rods out of the posts and used longer bolts with some nice counter sunk washers instead of the thumb screws.

When I had tall lipos in my B44, I replaced the bottom screws with slightly longer ones so that I could put washers inbetween the chassis and the posts.

Was thinking about taking the thumbscrew posts out of both my B44's entirely and replacing them with posts that take an R clip. God forbid I should ever have a lipo problem I'd like to at least try and get the cells out and save the car.

Only thing is none of the posts on Ebay list the height of the post to the R clip hole!

Anyone else made the swap?

You could use Tamiya 501/511 posts, they are blue and take an R clip, just need a 2-3mm spacer under the bolt to fit the lipo's in. They also take a metric bolt too

Did look at the Tamiya posts Mark, along with Schumacher.

Don't know if I'll need a spacer as I'm running lipo trays in both my B44's.
