With regards to electronics, you dont have to replace what you have immediately just as and when you need to

I am running the Ansmann Xirius Pro Speedo in my X2c and it has been fine so far. The programming box makes it easy to change the settings to. It is quite large though so if you are running an x2c you have to become a bit creative with where you position it. Good speedo for the money though

While i'm all for promoting the brand & honouring my agreement to run exclusively Ansmann equipment & electrics in the car (although funding it may be tricky at the moment for me so it will be a slow process) i've been running Ansmann cars & products for about 3 or 4 years or so already as the brand is very well supported at my local hobby shop, so all i need to do is replace the electrics as & when.. I do intend to replace all my electrics anyway - regardless of the team drive or not & Ansmann products were high on my list - mainly as I say because Ansmann have a good support at my local shops & i know i can get the products easily.

however, the one thing that does concern me is there are not many Ansmann products on the BRCA list (i.e. Motors, LiPo's, speedo's) so if we take part in regionals & nationals, BRCA regulated events etc how can we honour out our contract agreements to run Ansmann electrics if the products we are "told" to buy are not race legal & we need to use other brands to be allowed to race? so can we please have more products submitted for homologation?

So for example, even though as a newly accepted Ansmann driver, i do intend to run Ansmann branding on my 12th car this winter however, i can't fit any Ansmann products into the car because they are not listed (10.5 motor, 1S LiPo, EFRA legal ESC) & of course Ansmann don't make any 12th scale pan car parts. Although on the plus side i will be using an Ansmann charger & car stands, shock oil etc & do my bit for the brand as best i can.

Regarding the BRCA list the pro motors have been added which are the ones to use. Motors could be homoligated any time in the year. the only reason that lipos have not been added yet is because they can only be submitted for homoligation once a year which i think is january. Hopefully the lipos will be submitted when needed and will appear on the list for next season.

As will the new speedos when they are commercially available.

Any queries you have may be better voiced in emails to Woody!

I could be wrong but there isnt a BRCA list for speedo's? As mentioned the pro motors are already on the list and the batteries should follow suit for next season...

Couldn't you have sent them a new one to homologate? The one in the picture looks like it has been used for a season
