Default HPI Re-Brand Atom

HPI seem to be gearing up to add more to the Micro stage with the new and improved HPI Mini Recon.

The recon I think is the HPI tweaked version of the Maverick Atom range which they bought as part of the HPI/Maverick range last year. We got all the new EVO versions of the Mavericks early this year and now it looks like a Micro is to follow.

It's 2.4gh RTR with all new HPI branded electronics, plastics and shell so it should be pretty good. I have the original Atom XB and it's an excellent buggy once you change out the stock shocks.. I think with HPI now being involved this will be an excellent truck, and hopefully buggy.

Being a HUGE HPI fan-boy I'm getting one ASAP

Full info of the new HPI (Atom) Recon now available...

HPI Europe

The buggy is a very quick car. As for 'kids' ...it's surprisingly fast. So not sure what a 'kids age' is these days for RC. But I'm never letting my 10 year old godson anywhere near it again hehe... It's far to fast and nimble for him, he rolled it constantly.

Just been doing a search for something for my 5 year old Son. Think this may just be the ticket. Don't want to get him some cheap tat from toysrus that I won't be able to get parts for.

I was looking at the RC18T - 4wd Mini RTR stadium, but have been informed the wheels aren't big enough
