Default Clockwise or Anticlockwise

Which way do you like tracks to run? Clockwise or Anticlockwise? Any reason why?

all the tracks i race at race clockwise, sometimes i wish they would go anticlockwise as if your a good driver you can do either, plus my tyres would wear evenly

Both, you would be amazed how different a track feels ran the other way round, we sometimes run coventry clockwise as we usually run anti clock, and we never know which till race day, keeps all on our toes!

Don't know why but all tracks I seem to have ever run on in Germany run anticlockwise and all tracks in Belgium have been clockwise.

Doesn't really matter to me but once you've gone round a track one way I find it difficult to switch on that track.

Used to run anticlockwise outside at wrexham. It felt wierd to run clockwise after years of doing that, but when we went inside we went clockwise.

I agree here that it feels like a different track... As for direction, it's unimportant, it's just a series of Left hand and Right hand corners, straights etc..

That is of course, unless track features do not allow it to be run backwards.

Not really thought about it but most of the tracks I've been to seem to be run clockwise.

Talking either way

When I was a kid I would have said clockwise as the grass track I ran on when I was a nipper was always that way, but these days I think either way. I guess our brains, and hand eye coordination can become conditioned to approach things by a pre determined formuler eg: clockwise or anti clockwise, but variet is def better as it pushes us to stay alert and keeps each track fresh.

Saying that, I have enough trouble finding the apex one way round lol

Lol no your def not, I always say, I treat my corners like a do my relationships with women...I enter with good intentions but they end up a right mess with me facing the wrong direction! Lol

I mask my blindness either way round the clock face by exclaiming 'marshal, oh marshal, be a gent and see to my carpet thrasher with the henry hoover will you' lol
