And being Lithium-Polymer I suppose that means its Liiiiiiii-thium then is it?
I think not sir!!! To not be a bounder, you should always pronounce it in the Queens own. So its lith-ee-uhm; therefore LiPO = leh-po pip pip. top drawer. ![]() |

No no, when it Lithium is it Lee but when it is made into LiPo, it become Lie.
LiPo as in Like-o, Lime-o, Lite-o, Lilo. ![]() |

And while we're at the whole pronunciation thing, when I used to work in a model shop we'd have people come in and talk about fut-aba transmitters. I always thought it pronounced like future, so few-tar-ba, as opposed to the fut fut fut noise a tractor would make ( sorry can't work it out phonetically ), and them someone I spoke to at a track recently said ag-ama instead of the Ag-arma that I thought it should be pronounced like.
However the best one, again while I was working at the model shop, we went up to the Hobby Company. I've done RC since I was about 10, and in all that time I've only ever heard people pronounce Tamiya one way... until we turned up at the hobby company and he introduced products by Tam ear... I think some of this is getting lost in translation here so I'll get me coat ![]() |
