19turn equivalent or 9 turn equivalent?

Think i run 18/78 with sintered Novak 5.5 GTB (outdoors) on NiMhs.

If its the ordinary LRP maybe you need to fit the proper heatsink.

17 is about right. i run 16/17 on a novak 4.5 sintered. i guess the 9t equivalent is a 5.5?
so 17/18 should be fine. The original LRP speedo may struggle though in a 4wd, they are ok for 2wd, but not a lot of air in a lazer.

On my 5.5 I run 19/78 A normal gearing and 20/78 for long straights or to smooth it out. Not a hint of a problem indoors or outside.
