In association with Mighty Models of Sheffield , Stocksbridge Radio Car Club is proud to present the

Stocksbridge Winter Series 2011/2012 .

A Series of SIX meetings with best FOUR meetings to count, racing indoors on Primatrack GT Carpet of 30m x 16m in size with latest My Laps & BBK software automated race counting and software plus full race information display board to keep track of the races as the day goes on.

Meetings will consist of at least 3 rounds of racing and two legged finals .

Prizes at EVERY round. In a style similar to the original Tamiya Eurocup we will be awarding model shop vouchers of ascending value to final winners and the top three overall in each class


Classes and Rules :

1/10 Touring Cars

13.5 Brushless - 1350g minimum weight , 7.4v maximum cell voltage , open tyre choice, tyres must be rubber and non spiked type.

* If there is enough interest , a 10.5 Brushless class will be run , PLEASE let us know if you're interested !

Tamiya Mini Class

- Cars must be normal layout M-03 or M-05 chassis (no conversions) ,
Tyres must be rubber and no larger than Tamiya 60D size .
7.4v maximum cell voltage, 2 Lipo or 6 cell Nimh .
Motors MUST be RS540 Silver Can AS SUPPLIED IN KIT, Johnson or Mabuchi , note Fan Motors are NOT allowed, must be as per a Tamiya Kit motor.

All classes have a 5mm minimum ride height rule , cars must display one number on windscreen for spectators and drivers to see.

Dates :

Round 1 - 2nd October 2011

Round 2 - 6th November 2011

Round 3 - 4th December 2011

Round 4 - 22nd January 2012

Round 5 - 5th February 2012

Round 6 / Finals - 4th March 2012
