Default bevel gear

had my rear bevel gear melt today on my caster sk10, what would of caused that to happen ????

If it's melted around the diff balls, it will be a problem with the diff adjustment - either too loose cauing it to slip and heat up, or simply assembled incorrectly.

If it is the teeth of the gear that are damaged it will be the mesh that is too loose, or the gears having too much float which will need shimming out.

its not the bigger gear its the smaller bevel gear buddy, the larger gear is fine thats what i cant understand, its being running fine the last 5-6 weeks
