Default Futaba 3GR TX woes :-(

Hi guys, I switched on my transmitter yesterday only to realise that it doesn't seem to be transmitting a signal.... theres two LEDs that can normally be viewed through the rear of the handset case to indicate its status - however neither the red nor green LEDs are illuminated I tried it with both the receivers that I have for this system but neither receive a signal from the transmitter so I presume the fault is with the transmitter (the screen & menu functions all function as they should)

I just wondered if anyone else on here has experienced the same problem and/or if there was a simple fix for the problem?

Having removed the rear cover off the tranny it seems power is getting to the 'transmitting' board but alas its not working. I was wondering if it would be something Trevor Bailey could have a look at, but on closer expectation of the board it is all surface mount components which maybe beyond his capabilities??

Thanks in advance for any comments/help

- Dan

Ripmax the UK distributor will be able to help:

http://www2.ripmax.net/rm_contact.asp

If you give them a call and ask to speak to Jim about a Futaba radio he may be able to help you with trouble shooting.
