Default AMB Transponder

does anyone know if these can be taken apart and a new wires soldered into it ??
just bought one of Flea Bay and the wires is all mangled and soldered together in places.

AFAIK they are a fully sealed unit fella :/

I believe they are a non serviceable unit, if you can solder something of the stump of a wire coming out of the box then you might be OK

yeah i can do that just need to find some where that sells the plug things (technical name i know )

Or just solder to your speedo, that how mine is in my TC and i've had no problems with it.

Just send it to MRT and have it cloned. Then you can install the original in one chassis and the new MRT PTX in the other.
Once cloned, you can simply order another cloned one without having to send one in as they have a record.

I have done this a few times and the best bit is you get service capability from MRT and the personal touch - they can change the lead length and the colour of the LED...

Highly recommended!
