Default 20c or 30c 5000mah lipo for 9t ezrun?

Hi People,

I'm in the process of ordering some lipos for my 9t ezrun (35A esc) from Hobby King. Its for a 1/10th 2 wheel drive short course that is very light (ansmann core)....mostly bashing but wouldn't rule out racing in the future. Think Im going for Zippy flight max or Turnigy......but not sure to go for 20c or 30c? Am I right in thinking the 20c might get the temps up a bit high??

Any advice/knowledge always appreciated

cheers

You'll knacker your lipos with 20c rating. Your esc is rated at 35c so you'll be asking a lot from your lipos when drawing amps. Although it'll work in the long term it won't do your lipos much good. You should go for a least 30c or higher.

Not quite right, 20C 5000mah = 100 amps, 30C 5000mah = 150 amps
Both are more than sufficient for a 35A esc. I would go for the higher C rating but either will be fine.
