Depends on your intentions.

For racing, I would avoid it since it is sensorless.

For bashing, it will be fine.

Hobbywing 120A Xerun ESC and a Speed Passion V3 6.5 motor. Should be in the region of £150 from UK stocks.

Plenty of other good sensored racing choices out there, most are more expensive than the Hobbywing, but the motors are generally quite similar prices.

PS Be careful looking for Hobbywing products on that well-known auction site, there are a lot of fakes about.
