due to never-ending heavy rain on a (possible) beautiful sunday, I decided to upgrade my RB5 shocks with the x-rings. I put some green slime to the rings and built the shocks with care as usual.
I must say they now feel smooth as smooth can be. it feels like they have no more friction at all! but what about their sealing quality? do you guys have any long term experience with them? how do they do under dusty conditions? |

The ORG3X seals improved the sealing quality of the original ZX-5 shocks quite substantially. I found in the new style shocks (like on RB5) they are not required.

There are two kinds as well. Orange and Clear. the clear ones are a bit smoother but the orange ones will handle the dust better.

Digging up a really old thread, is this the part number for the 3mm orings?
Also, what is the part number for the orange ones?
